Termites are a type of insect that destroy and consume wood, wooden structures, or even entire buildings. A termite bait system is one of the innovative ways of termite control. It involves the application of edible baits that are applied near the termite’s infestation area.

This is then consumed and spread throughout the termites. Baiting involves constant inspection and re-application if necessary. Baits include a small amount of wood and Natural insecticides (Non-repellent) that decline and slow the growth of termites.

Termites follow a caste system where each termite has a role to fulfill. Worker termites are the ones we often see that swarm a location during an infestation. They find, gather food, and feed the rest of the termites in the colony by consuming, digesting, and producing food for other termites in the process called Trophallaxis. This rationale behind baiting systems is a smart way to eliminate the whole colony by targeting what feeds them. By annihilation of the worker termites, the rest of the colony will starve to death. Likewise, if poison is in their food, it will be transferred to other termites as well. This is why much better than other products like TCOMBSTM.
